Q: I have recently lost all my baby weight and don’t know where to start to rebuild my wardrobe. My wardrobe consists of 2 jeans, 3 sweaters and 3 long sleeve shirts. I have never been into trends but I need some classic pieces that are really inexpensive that will allow me to mix and match. Please help as again I do not have much money…. But I want to be a classy dressed mom. *JP*
A:Well JP, I have never had lots of money, but I always go with a list. There is no need to be in a rush, you can be patient and still find what you need, at a good price, and the quality you want. I am not a fan of buying a black cardi ten times, I’m a fan of waiting until you get the one you want at the price you can afford. I love macy’s, bloomies, and even JCPenny for these basics. Mix-in a little gap, old navy and jcrew sale section and you have all you need. Just for the sake of a budget I picked out all these items from Targets online store. My list is below and I added a few fun pieces too. My cart had 13 items in it, and it came to 269.88. I will display all items first then mix and match them in different ways, keep in mind this is going to be my take. You can change it up if its too much color but I just want to show that with less than 15 items you can create lots of looks.
2)bold color pencil skirt
5)multi color cardi
6)colored jean or Pant
8)bold color blazer
9)easy to wear dress
All these looks came from mostly the same items, and there is tons more you could do. Money should never be an excuse to not living a fashionable life.
