It’s being along time since I introduced you to a new jewelry brand, so today I will do two. Erickson Beamon is a great brand. The quality is amazing, and the detail is one of the best out. I have included my fav pieces and info on the brand. You can find the brand HERE. You guessed it at charm and chain.
Erickson Beamon has been a driving force in costume jewelry design for nearly 30 years and has even been credited with creating the chandelier earring. The brand is a partnership between Vicki Beamon and Karen and Eric Erickson, all natives of Detroit. In 1982, while working for a fashion designer’s runway show in Manhattan, the trio began creating their own custom jewelry to complement the fashions on display. They received instant recognition in the fashion world for their designs, leading to the founding of Erickson Beamon. In 1985, Beamon moved to London to form the brand’s European division, and their designs can now be found around the world. Erickson Beamon has done numerous collaborations, working with the late Alexander McQueen and fashion houses such as Donna Karan, John Galliano, Zac Posen, Givenchy, Anna Sui, and Emanuel Ungaro. This perennially cutting edge line enjoys a vast celebrity fan base, ranging from Lady Gaga to Sienna Miller to First Lady Michelle Obama. Erickson Beamon jewelry can be found in the permanent collections of both London’s Victoria & Albert Museum and the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum; in 2003, a retrospective exhibit was curated at Barney’s in honor of Erickson Beamon’s 20-year anniversary.
