SOMETIMES YOU CAN BE YOUR OWN INSPIRATION…

I  was speaking to a friend, telling her I feel like maybe this is all I can loose. Maybe I am just meant to be here at this weight. I told her I never felt too big. I always saw me as me. I then decided to look back in my lil cuz facebook. I found pics from when she visited me in the ATL. It was in 2007 I was 22, and as you will see way over weight. I’m currently over weight, but It’s a difference. I think these pics will serve as a motivation. I am really happy of where I am, and where I been. Lesson here, is to give yourself some props, we are so hard on ourselves. I have come along way, and even though it took me 4 years to even start loosing weight. I did loose some weight.

WHERE I WAS…

WHERE I’M GOING…. 🙂

  1. It is very important to celebrate the small wins in weight loss but also in anything that you do. Pictures tell a story that’s for sure. We can always convince ourselves that we don’t look bad or that we haven’t gained that much or we carry it well. And truth be told it’s about health. About your heart being healthy and your numbers being good. They say Youth is wasted on the Young, and it’s so true. Because in your 20’s and 30’s you take life so for granted. As you move into your 40’s and 50’s and 60’s life happens and most times people are not ready for it. It is wonderful that you are taking care of yourself now to be the best you that you can be with what you know. Not to say that at 30 you won’t have more evolvement and at 40, and that’s okay. It means you’re living and growing! Good luck on your journey, “It ain’t always fun, but it’s oh so worth it”
