BEING FASHIONABLE STARTS YOUNG!

I have a 16month old little boy named CJ, usually I am a bargain hunter, but for my little boy I just can not seem to go cheap. I know he grows fast, but little boys clothes at target or children’s place are horrible. I’m sorry to shot them out, but mom’s of lil boys will totally agree. I can only shop for my son at polo (outlet or any major dept. store sale rack) or gap! So when I heard DVF was doing a children’s line for GAP you can imagine how excited I was, until I realized its only for GIRLS. Everything cool is always for little girls. I almost wanted to get a petition going, but I took a deep breath and looked at the darn clothes. They are too cute. Everything you would expect from both brands. Now thinking about it what would I expect DVF to create for lil boys? LMAO I guess I was hoping for a Hampton’s edition. If you have a little girl, or know someone who does check out the gap! I have added all the info about the collaboration and pics of the collection.

Keep Shining, XX ALIX

DVF’s girls’ collection for Gap Kids is almost here! “I’ve always thought that our bold prints and shapes would work well for children,” the designer told InStyle. “It’s never too early for girls to start becoming the women they want to be.” The playful lineup includes tanks, shorts, capris, leggings, swimwear, sunglasses, espadrilles and tiny wrap dressesin DVF’s signature leaf and hibiscus prints. “It is timeless, colorful, effortless,” von Furstenberg added. “That is very DVF.” So true! Preview the entire collection in the gallery, and shop it for $20 to $120 when it hits stores Thursday, March 15th.
