Oldie But a Goodie

I was visiting with my aunt last week, when I noticed something on her ankle. I knew what it was, but I not seen it in years. It was an anklet. I asked her what made her put that on, she simply replied I have had this for over 20 years, and I never take it off, When I got home I went to goggle to see if anyone still wears anklets. Turns out a lot of people wear them including some of your fav celebs.

Olsen twins

I was shocked, not because of how it looks, it still looks fabulous. I was more shocked because I just have not seen it on anyone in years. I loved Rihanna’s take on the anklet, hers was big, gold, and chunky but paired with Christian Louboutin’s it became chic. After I had looked at all the pic’s, I pulled down my trunks of gold chains and made myself one. I must say after wearing it for a week, I love it, especially with heels. Below is me in my anklet and Louboutin’s of course.

  1. I love anklets! I always wanted one but my Aunt said they were for sluts lol. I still think theyre fashionable and the chunkier the better. I should just get over my Aunt’s opinion and wear two at the same time lol.

  2. Funny, my mother gave me an anklet and a toe ring while on vaca in Forida. She told me “You have to a diva from head to toe”…I laughed and told her she was crazy, no one wears anklets let alone a toe ring, guess she’s wasn’t too off : )

    1. @kieko nope your mom was spot on. A simmons had on a toe ring as well. The only thing is toe rings are not comfortable for me, but if u can y not. Fashion is fun and when people aren’t doing it thats when u hav the ability to start or bring the trend back!

  3. Love seeing beautiful girls wearing a pretty little anklet. I don’t know why they are not more popular with girls than they are. A pretty anklet looks so sexy and catches the eye when adorning shapely tanned legs
